It's not entirely alone in that space, as Valve's DOTA 2 Netflix show Dota: Dragon's Blood came out to decent acclaim earlier this year and has a second season confirmed to release in January 2022. It's a high-quality show for one of gaming's most popular franchises, and feels like the sort of high-budget love letter any massively successful property should get. The show has captured the interest of League of Legends fans and newcomers alike, showing off the backstories of several major characters with well-produced 3D animation. Arcane has topped Netflix's charts as the most popular show in 52 countries, and three episodes still await fans on November 20. Riot Games' new League of Legends Netflix show is performing admirably.
